I’ve bought a 400 mm!

Yesterday I recieved my new Tokina 400 mm! Yay! I’ve always wanted to have a good zoom lens! Although this one is without zoom (always 400 mm) I’m very glad to have it. To bad though that I haven’t tried it out yet – the weather is so bad outside (snowing heavily) and this lens is certainly not a very good one for indoor use… Keep your finger crossed for sunshine tomorrow! :)

  1. Lucky you :-)
I would love to have a 500 mm. I tried my friends last week shooting musk ox. Yeah I miss a real “close up”-lens

  2. Yeah! :)
A 500 mm would be very nice to have!
My 400 mm is a used one, and fully manual. But I think it’s kind of fun to manually tune the focus and turn the wheel to set the F/-number (and it makes it a little cheaper). It takes a little time to learn how to manage the settinges (especially the manual focus) though…
