It’s been snowing on and off this morning, but as I write this the temperature is climbing towards zero.
One better enjoy this while it lasts:
It’s snowing quite heavily in all the photos – I stood under an umbrella while taking them! It must have been quite a sight for the people passing by! :)

hi my name is jon turnquist. my parents and grand parents are from kopparberg and stalldalen. i think that you live there? i checked your web site. cool pictures i recognize the church for wich my dad grew up behind. i would like to talk with others in the area or you can you direct me ? jon..my grandfather had 13+- brothers and sisters in stalldalen.my grand mothers name was christina johansen….allus spelling..name might be a litle different jon

Cool! Are you living in the USA? You’re right that I’m living in the surroundings of Kopparberg, actually in Ställberg, just a couple of km north of Ställdalen (13 km from Kopparberg).
